M is for Caravaggio

400 years ago we lost Michaelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. NPR has a brief profile of the artist and his continual legal woes in conjunction with an exhibition of his work in Rome.

For more detailed accounts of the trials and travails (and let's not forget the ART!) of our poor misunderstood Caravaggio, please consult 759.5 C262 for books with pictures or 92 C2615 for biographies with mostly words. Not sure why the cutter numbers are different, but that's inside baseball. All you need to know is where to find them.
