Glamorous Grayson

Coloratura soprano and film star of the 40's and 50's, Kathryne Grayson, passed away at the age of 88 on Wednesday. She was best known for her roles in the popular musicals "Show Boat" (1951), Anchors Away" (1945), and "Kiss Me Kate" (1953). For a full article visit the New York Times. Check out the DVD's for these great musicals in the Popular library on the first floor of MLK Jr. Memorial Library.
