ART on TV!

Washington DC supports a variety of arts and entertainment events throughout the year, but it can be a lot of work to seek them out and decide what to go see and when. Now DC has its very own Art TV channel: ART(202)TV airing on TV16 Friday and Saturday evenings. For more information visit the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities website.

Speaking of local art, did you know that the MLK Jr. Memorial Library has a "Local Artist" file? You can look at newspaper clippings, exhibition material, and biographical information about hundreds of past and present artists from the District. Check it out!
