NEW! The Places We Live

This little gem just strolled in from Aperture. It is called The Places We Live (779.9307 B458) and is  astonishing in its depiction of "habitable" spaces in Caracas, Nairobi, Mumbai, and Jakarta. Particularly surprising are the "Bridge Dwellers" in Jakarta. Another surprise is set in Mumbai and shows two men and one teenager "crushing pigment"; i.e. hitting stones with sledghammers. Not as though there is a safe way to do that, but they are shown without respirators! I had, until this point, assumed that pigments were crushed by machines. You guys might want to run to your studios to see where your pigments are coming from.
