Spies like Us

This item came via a bookslut tweet, but is relevant because your favorite Poussin scholar, and occasional spy, Anthony Blunt has had his memoirs uncorked by the British Library. Within these pages he discusses his recruitment and activities as a spy against his native Britain.

Here the British Library outlines the background and rules for viewing the manuscript.

Among his books in our collection are:

Borromini (720.92 B767ZB)
Guide to Baroque Rome (945.632 B659)
Art and Architecture in France 1500-1700 (709.44 B659)
Sicilian Baroque (720.945 B659)

All of our Anthony Blunt biographies have been lent already.

**There are several other titles in the ART REF aisles. The above list you can take out for 21 days**
